I was born on 9 augustus 1960 in Enschede, the Netherlands. I am married with Willemien and we have five sons in the age span of 23 to 38 years old. Moreover, we are enjoying our five grandchildren.
Unconditional connection, Unpacking, Authenticity
In March 1979 I moved to Zwolle. There, I started my education Nursing A, in the Hospital De Weezenlanden, which now is the Isala hospital. For almost 40 years, we have been living in Hattem, a small city nearby Zwolle.
Apart from work (see www.meandmyhouse.nl and www.uitpakken.nu) , I like to go to the gym to exercise, or I go cycling with a dear friend. I love to read, mainly professional literature. And I have two season tickets for FC Twente.
In my opinion, the most beautiful thing in my line of work and life is unpacking another. Not filling a hole but lighting a flame. You do not need another to become someone but to make visible who you already are.
I really enjoy seeing others shine. Maybe you are aware of the following saying: Your level of self-esteem determines whether you enjoy another’s success! Again, this comes down to making someone’s potential visible.
